Episode 69: Kerry Byrne & Food, Beer, Travel
"Food and hospitality and restaurants have such an impact on the image of a community. If you open nice restaurants, people think you're a nice community."
-Kerry Byrne
On this week's episode of the Eat Green Make Green Podcast, I'm mixing it up again with another episode of my "Conversations" series, where I stray from my usual plant-based/vegan stories and talk about anything. This week's guest is the one and only Kerry Byrne. Kerry is a globe-trotting food and drinks writer who has been covering the Boston and South Shore food scene for over 25 years. If you're from Quincy or in media in the Boston area, you likely know Kerry. He's a super interesting guy with an amazing energy and passion for food, beer, and travel. I thought I was going to interview him, but it turned out more like him interviewing me... either way, it's a fun conversation.
