"Live in the moment.  Every meal make a decision.  Don't think about next week or next year, just think about today.... meal by meal, day by day."

On this week's episode of the Eat Green Make Green Podcast I sit down with the inspirational Jay Oliveira.  Jay is the co-owner of Thriving Plant Based, a popular online nutrition and yoga platform.  He is also a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt and world champion!  We talk about Jay's journey from an unhealthy stock broker on Wall Street to a health and wellness expert, what sparked his transition to a fully plant-based diet, how it fuels him to perform at his peak every day, why fiber is the only nutrient we should be focused on getting, what he recommends for people who want to start eating more plant-based, why he lives a minimalist lifestyle, how he achieves his goals, and much more.  Jay is such an awesome and relatable guy, and at 45 years old, clearly how he treats his body is working.
